WTO: Global services trade growth slowed in Q4

The latest Service Trade Barometer report released by the WTO shows that the global service trade sentiment index fell to 98.3 in October 2022, much lower than the corresponding index in April. According to the report, global services trade activity likely weakened in the fourth quarter of 2022 and is likely to remain weak in the first few months of 2023.

 

Russia extends concessional loan programme for important imports

Recently, the Russian government website posted that Russian Prime Minister Yuri Mishustin signed an order to extend the special program of preferential loans for import products important to the Russian economy until October 30, 2023. The list of imported products eligible for concessional loans includes food, medical products, construction materials, agricultural machinery and electronic products.

 

Japan's consumer price index rose 3.7 percent in November
